The weekend of January 24th, 2009, we drove down to Fremont to have dinner with my Uncle, Aunt, Cousin Justin & cousin Mae. They took us out to a very good Japanese restaurant named Nijo Castle. After dinner we went back to my Aunt and Uncle's house and they surprised me with a birthday cake. The cake came from a very good french bakery (i forgot the name). Then on top of that, they surprised me with gifts. Thank you Justin for the delicious dinner, thank you Mae for the gift and cake, and thank you Auntie and Uncle for my coach bag:) The next day, we went to my friends house Michelle and Yonas to have lunch. They as well surprised me:) Yonas bbq my favorite foods, then had my favorite dessert wine that Josie and Nathan brought from Napa. Then later on the afternoon, our friend Carole Zabarte came by with her family. What a fun weekend:)

9 months today
I can't believe how time flies so fast. Our little Sophia is 9 months today. She is into everything. She has mastered the crawling. She makes silly faces and does silly things. It's a challenge just to change her outfit or diaper. I sometimes think she only does it to me to make it more exciting, cause when Bob or Claire does the job she makes it easy for them. Her favorite foods are mac and cheese, squash and carrots. The other day I gave her a whole apple and she didn't know what to do with it. She banged it on the floor then looked at it. So I asked her to kiss it, and she repeatedly did kiss the apple. Then she threw the apple and chased it like a ball, it was so cute. Enjoy viewing the photos.

Markofer photos outside
Pictures we took behind Markofer Elementary. We couldn't get Sophia to smile and we tried to keep her shoes on but she keeps kicking them off. A tripod would have been a help but I don't have one. By the way, we had a family photo taken at Claire's school from Excel photography that was very cheap and for good cost, that is why the girls are dressed up.
