Sophia's gift to Bob

Yesterday was Bob's bday, and Sophia gave him the best birthday present ever, she crawled! It made daddy's day memorable. We met with Mom, Mike and Katie at Mikuni's for dinner. Bob got to spin the wheel and tried to win the $100.00 giftcard, but instead he won the Hibache (the bandana that you see in his head). Claire is still working on the birthday spankings. She's only got to 15 spankings, more to go, plus she has to do Sophia's part.

I sometimes forget how time flies so fast. Sophia is going to be 7months on monday. After giving her a bath tonight I put her in her crib so I can put away her bathtub, towel, shampoo & body soap. So I hung her towel up then went back to the sink to grab the rest. As i was walking into her room with my hands full she stood up in her crib and made me drop everything on the floor and run towards her. Made me scared at the moment but as soon as I had her in my arms I was so excited. She did it all by herself. It is time for Bob to bring the mattress lower. What a joy:)

Visited my brother last weekend

Last weekend we went to visit my brother and his family. My nephew Christian had a Halloween costume from a couple of years ago that was a dog. My sister in law put in on Sophie, it was funny. Sophia didn't know what to do with it.

Every time my brother would hold Sophia she would cry or just simply stare at him, it is so hilarious on how she reacts to him.

Sophie's Dr's appointment

Today was Sophia's 6month Doctor's appointment. She now weights 19lbs 1oz, 28inches long. I was so happy when the docotor told me she is a tall baby, she got it from Bob's genes, yipeeee! NO wonder my arms and back are getting soar, my baby girl is getting big too fast. She talks a lot and when I sing to her clap your hands, clap your hands, she does clap her hands. It is so cute. Now I am in the process of teaching her how to do close open with her hands.

Claire won again!

Claire won soccer again! It is now 3wins 1lost. It was our weekend to bring the snack. We made lollipop cookies and pretzel sticks with chocolate, it was a hit!!

Introducing Pumpkin to Sophie

Last night Bob came home with a pumpkin and had Sophie sit right next to it. She liked the pumpkin and tried to eat it:) Can't wait till Halloween is here.
