Merry Christmas

9 months today

I can't believe how time flies so fast. Our little Sophia is 9 months today. She is into everything. She has mastered the crawling. She makes silly faces and does silly things. It's a challenge just to change her outfit or diaper. I sometimes think she only does it to me to make it more exciting, cause when Bob or Claire does the job she makes it easy for them. Her favorite foods are mac and cheese, squash and carrots. The other day I gave her a whole apple and she didn't know what to do with it. She banged it on the floor then looked at it. So I asked her to kiss it, and she repeatedly did kiss the apple. Then she threw the apple and chased it like a ball, it was so cute. Enjoy viewing the photos.

Dinner at Nick & Bonnie's 12-15-08

We had a yummy dinner at Nick and Bonnie's house tonight. Claire and Nick played Wii, so did Jim and it was very interesting to watch them play, especially Nick:) Thank you for having us over.

Markofer photos outside

Pictures we took behind Markofer Elementary. We couldn't get Sophia to smile and we tried to keep her shoes on but she keeps kicking them off. A tripod would have been a help but I don't have one. By the way, we had a family photo taken at Claire's school from Excel photography that was very cheap and for good cost, that is why the girls are dressed up.

Thanksgiving Day 2008

Our Thanksgiving was celebrated at my mother in laws house. Sophia got to taste the turkey and passed out in her high chair from being full. My brother's family was also with us. After eating all the turkey we were all soooo sleepy. We were so full that we didn't have room for dessert:(

Disneyland Trip 2008

We went to Disneyland to take the girls and experienced the magical snow on the main street. We had a great time. Sophia enjoyed seeing Mickey so much. When we are home she watches the Mickey's playhouse disney, so she was amazed to see him in person. Claire enjoyed the Haunted Mansion as the theme is The Night Before Christmas which is her ultimate favorite. We met with my friend Heidi and her family and had lunch at Bucca di Beppo.

Claire's school award ceremony

One of the great things being a stay home mom is never missing the special events at Claire's school. Last Friday Oct 31st, Sophia and I attended her award ceremony for Student of the Month:) We were so proud of her. On top of that she received all straight A's, so she is in the District Honor Roll, and Principle's List. And she also accomplished the 25mile run and received a certificate for that. Claire is off track for the whole month of November. She is enjoying every moment of it.

I couldn't really take pictures of Claire playing that day coz of the rain and of course I was too busy watching. So I took pictures when it was half time. The Paras's and Desomer's came to watch her game, thanks guys. Claire won that day 7 to 2. They have won 6 games and lost twice. GO MUSTANGS!!!
